India’s First Achiever in the Education Field: Sunil G Karve
Prominent Educationist and Academia Expert CA. Sunil G Karve, the force behind India’s
leading institution – MET League of Colleges, won the prestigious award ‘Yashashree
2010’. He was honoured with the award during a dazzling function at the MCA
Club, BKC, Mumbai on June 15, 2010 in the presence of bureaucrats, leaders, scholars,
industry stalwarts, VVIPs and paparazzi. This is first time ever that education
as a vertical has been introduced in this awards ceremony. Mr. Karve is India's
first educationist, upon whom this rare honour has been conferred.
'Yashashree Award' is presented by The Times of India group publication - Maharashtra
Times, to acknowledge the Marathi Achiever who excels in an industry sector. Pioneers
are nominated from each respective industry and subsequently an expert panel of
judges declares the recipient of the award.
